Stephen Hunt has more than 40 years’ experience in the construction industry. After graduating from Coventry Polytechnic with a BSc Hons. degree in Construction, Stephen worked for national and regional contractors in London, the Midlands, Yorkshire and the North West on projects valued up to £70m.
Prior to setting up Lakes and Dales Project Planning, Stephen was formerly a Director for a regional contractor responsible for all Pre-Construction activities, having progressed from a hands-on site-based Project Manager to Contracts Manager and Divisional Manager with special emphasis on planning and project development at both pre-construction and construction stage.
Stephen has a vast understanding of all aspects of the industry including new build, refurbishment and heritage works in a variety of different sectors including education, leisure facilities, industrial and commercial buildings, healthcare and residential. He is familiar with all procurement routes having been involved in design and build partnership and framework schemes, two stage procurement as well as the traditional single stage procurement route.
